Daily Living Assistance That Supports Independence

Daily living assistance is about helping people manage everyday tasks in a way that supports independence, choice, and dignity. Our role is not to take over — it is to provide practical, reliable support that fits into your life and adapts as your needs change.

We work alongside participants to support daily routines at home and in the community. Support is tailored to individual goals, preferences, and abilities, whether assistance is required every day or only at certain times. Our approach is calm, respectful, and focused on building confidence, not dependence.

Our daily living assistance services can include support with personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, routines, and day-to-day activities that help maintain wellbeing and independence. Support can be provided short-term or ongoing and is designed to align with NDIS plans and individual outcomes.

We understand that everyone’s version of “daily living” looks different. That is why our services are flexible, participant-led, and delivered by trained support workers who value clear communication, consistency, and trust.

If you, your family, or your support coordinator are looking for dependable daily living assistance that fits real life — we are here to help.

At JNJ Community Support Services, daily living support is delivered with consistency, respect, and a genuine focus on independence.

What Daily Living Assistance Can Include

Daily living assistance covers practical, everyday support that helps participants live as independently as possible at home and in the community. Services are flexible and tailored to individual needs, routines, and goals, with support provided respectfully and at the participant’s pace.

Support with personal care is delivered with dignity, privacy, and respect. This may include assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support, and establishing daily routines. Support is always guided by participant choice and comfort.

We provide assistance with everyday household tasks that help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. This can include light cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, bed changes, and general household organisation based on individual needs.

Support with meal preparation focuses on nutrition, independence, and personal preferences. Assistance may include planning meals, preparing food, cooking together, or supporting established daily routines that promote wellbeing and confidence.

Daily living assistance can also extend beyond the home. Support may include attending appointments, running errands, accessing community activities, or developing skills that support greater independence in everyday life.
